Me and Weichen decided to make okonomiyaki today! I think it was Pengguu’s fault. I remember him linking me to an okonomiyaki site and I got way too excited XD (I WANT TO BE LIKE UKYOU FROM RANMA, LOL!) So after I got off work, we went and bought all the ingredients and began cooking right away! XD They’re so easy to make!!
The dough mix, the kewpie mayo, and the tonkatsu sauce~ (1 cup mix, 3/4th water and a little extra flour to keep it from running)
We added some corn to it. So yummy~!! You can add cabbage and things too, but we didn’t get any XD (I liked it without!)
I really like chicken, and we found some okay priced stuff at the store, so we went with it! But you can add pretty much whatever you want. (Thus the name okonomiyaki, or ‘grilled what you like’) We made two different kinds of chicken too. Weichen made some with white pepper and salt. I made some with soysauce, sugar, and onion powder. Both were really yummy! But I left the cutting and cooking of the chicken to Weichen~ XD haha~

My first one was sooooo big and everything was spread out, hahaha. But it was delicious!!
But I let the boys and my dad try it and they all loved it, so after making quite a few, they started to look better!! Here’s the last one!
Oh man, I miss them already! And they were so fun to make XD Definitely making a million more of these in the future. BUT I’m definitely writing ‘I love you, Ranchan’ on the next one. ???
AND we’re keeping a steady neck-and-neck with Texas in Zapataur!! I hope we can keep it up!!!
