Man, I just had so much stuff to add that I got overwhelmed and just ran away from updating. Now I’m watching the Superbowl with Tam, Huong, Kyle, and Mom, and Dad and Le are wandering around the house doing stuff. Oh, now Michael’s here too. Apparently Kopa’s coming over after (which means so is Kai, haha) Time for more Rival Schools!! (That game is still just as amazing, lol)
So, 2 main events since I last updated. I went to Socal/Disneyland with Le’s sisters and I went to the Tekken Strongstyle tournament in San Jose (Same place norcal regionals was) I think I’m just gonna post a bunch of random pictures with little or no explanations at all XD OH MAN, TALK ABOUT LAZY!!

Wednesday, December 16th, 2009These were unfortunately taken with my suuuuuuper crappy phone (Blackberry pearl. I HATE THIS PHONE!!! ….even though it so cute!!!)
Anyway, these are from the day of the tekken tournament, haha. Before hand, Michael and I hung out in this cute little shop and drank hot cocoa while drawing and watching the rain.
I can’t wait to go there again. <3
I wrote a description for the tekken event but my stupid laptop decided to crash and even though word press ALWAYS saves drafts every 4 seconds when I don’t want it to, for some reason, it decided not to this time oTL so FML, I’m just posting the pictures:
20yr old Michael got a 21+ wrist band even though we specifically said he was not drinking, haha. Too many people working the door?? XD But they were nice.
After a few hours in (even though there was an open bar which Michael took advantage of-lol- and free food) Michael and I and some friends we met at the Nor Cal Regionals when to Genki Ramen down geary. I got REAL okonomiyaki!!!
Then we came back to the tournment right during the final matches!! They were so intense. During the whole thing I was freaking out. The restaurant break was much needed XD But yeah, after getting back to the event, namco started hanging out free bags with the Tapout Tekken shirts, faceplates, and ps3 skins. So awesome of them! (there was also a deck of magic cards in each bag for some reason LOL. I gave mine to Michael…)
I’m not gonna lie, they definitely only had the girl version of the shirt, haha. Considering there was only about 6 girls there, there were a lot of dissappointed guys XD I however, have been wanting this shirt since the very first day namco showed it as a promo, so I was an still am stoked about it.

Monday, December 14th, 2009Some super quick and rough sketches of Volken from the anime Tatakau Shisho: the Book of Bantorra. Has anyone seen this? No?? yeah, that’s what I thought, lol. I couldn’t find a SINGLE usable reference photo for this character and had to resort pausing a blurry youtube picture to try and draw his clothes. Oh man, so underground. ARMED LIBRARIANS ARE GO!
Anyway, the weekend was amazing, just like I had hoped. Didn’t get to see Robert and Marla in Sacramento, but I did get to hang out and make some cool friendships in San Francisco for the Tekken National Championships. Was so much fun. Unfortunately, I realized my camera was out of batteries when Michael and I were in the cutest tea shop in japantown and I really wanted to take pictures. So…all the pictures of that night were taken by my phone oTL…and I can’t upload them without an SD card adapter! …I’ll keep looking for it TAT </3 But yeah, it was so much fun.

And then on Sunday, I’ll proooooobably be going to Sacramento to sell some art at Sac-con at Jim’s vendor table, with Michael and perhaps Wei-chen. We’ll see how lazy I feel tomorrow, and if I print things to sell. Oh god, I really don’t feel like cutting out a hundred charms and fighting with my broken printer. (Maybe I should ask for a new printer for Christmas….)
Also, just found out my grandparents from Hawaii want to go to Vegas before my grandpa’s surgery. So I’m planning to be there the whole time they are, which is between Dec. 27th-Jan. 4th. We’ll see if I can afford it and work out plans to have someone take me and pick me up from the airport (not leaving my car somewhere). We’ll see how it goes.

Jin’s muscles lol. ARE SO BIG. As they get older, their muscles get bigger.
Vergil and Nero being ignored as everyone else from the DMC series was drawn in pchat XD including a girl version dante, haha~!
….I’m not good at drawing without lines oTL makes me so sad!! I need to practice basic skills very badly….
Tried to draw Ikki (With Hapa, my cat, lol) from Air Gear for my friend but failed badly oTL Then she drew in the guy on the left~! Can’t remember his name because I don’t follow of the series, even though th art is so pretty in the manga~ ;O; I think his name is Kazu…??? Anyway, Kazu drawn by Kaci (kitten-chan@DA)

First though,this important announcement.

Okay, then I went to Berkeley to stay with Weichen and sell in the artist alley ofthe college anime club’s anime destiny con. It was slow but I still had fun. And visiting Weichen was fun too~ >3< Oh man, so many awesome places to eat….and BOBA OPEN SUPER LATE! D: First night I got there, we went and got boba at midnight XD How amazing is that……….

Later that night went to a Korean Restaurant with Weichen, her boyfriend Aaron, Lisa, Lisha, and Kimberly. It was really fun~ XDWe went to boba again after, haha. And the next day, got Thai food as we waited for laundry. It was SOOOO YUMMY~!! Ahh~ I love that coconut milk soup so muuuuch!! >3<
And the rest of everything is on my facebook, haha.
So much to catch up on! Hopefully I’ll be drinking with Tam, Huong, and KOPA!!! and his new girlfriend Amanda!! tomorrow night! And Friday, we’re leaving to stay with Robert and Marla in Sacramento for their birthdays~~~!! We’re going to make more okonomiyaki and some potato Japanese food Marla wants to try!! XD I’m so excited~!! ???

Stride gum is have a contest right now to SAVE THE ARCADE and an arcade in my area is in SECOND PLACE!!! I really need your help to help us pull through! I want this local arcade to win so badly!! ;O; We would win 25,000 dollars towards renovation and new machines!! Ahhh~ We could get Tekken 6 and Blazblue!!! >O< I would be sooooo happy!!!!
